Meet the Doctors

Dr. Gerard J. Lemongello

Dr. Gerard J. Lemongello Jr. graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and has been in private practice since 1987. His focus is on cosmetic and comprehensive restorative rehabilitative dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, and is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Lemongello is a senior clinical instructor with the Rosenthal Institute’s Aesthetic Advantage Continuum at New York University. He has also served as co-chairman of the Comprehensive Esthetic and Restorative Clinic at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic in West Palm Beach. He has also held numerous positions on the board of the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic and presided as president for two terms.

Dr. Jay M. Lerner

Dr. Lerner graduated from Columbia University School of Dentistry in 1982 and completed a general practice residency at Brookdale Medical Center in New York. His focus is on cosmetic and restorative rehabilitative dentistry. Dr. Lerner is dedicated to continuing education having completed advanced training in esthetic and restorative dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, New York University, The Seattle Institute and The Dawson Center. He serves as a senior clinical instructor and lecturer for The Aesthetic Advantage Continuum at New York University and is a guest lecturer for the NYU International Dental Program. He is also the former chairman of the Comprehensive Esthetic and Restorative Clinic at the Atlantic Coast Dental Research Clinic in West Palm Beach.

Dr. Joshua Tillinger

Dr. Joshua Tillinger graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s Six-Year Professional Scholars Program in Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Tillinger’s focus is on cosmetic comprehensive dentistry and curating beautiful, healthy smiles with a five-star experience. Dr. Tillinger’s postgraduate endeavors led him to a prestigious dental residency in Alabama, The Foundry. It was there that Dr. Tillinger trained in smile makeovers, complex prosthodontic rehabilitation, surgical procedures, and IV-sedation. At The Foundry, Dr. Tillinger undertook the transformative focus of rebuilding the lives and oral dentition of drug and alcohol rehabilitation victims through full mouth reconstructions. Dr. Tillinger’s commitment to education extends to lecturing on advanced cosmetic techniques, notably on minimally invasive porcelain veneers and smile design, across the United States. Dr. Tillinger is also a member of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Board of Oral Implantology and the American Dental Association.

I can't say enough about Dr. Lerner, who is the absolute bomb! From the minute you walk into the office the attention to detail by the staff of professionals is exceptional. What an incredible journey this has been! I had no idea upon our initial consultation what was going on in my mouth due to years of bad dentistry and a misaligned bite. We went through a lot to achieve the end result which was not the focus initially to have a designer smile. It's been a work in progress, but each procedure made such an incredible difference it's truly unbelievable. My husband is blessed being under Dr. Lerner's care for many years and I am thankful Dr. Lerner was able to address and correct all of my concerns. After three years of hating my smile - the result of another dentist who placed a crown on my front tooth that was too big and off color - I visited Dr Lemongello to see if it could be corrected. When I️ first started looking into getting veneers, I️ realized that I️ would probably end up never getting them because I️ had not come across a doctor who did not make the veneers look like horse teeth. Low and behold, I️ came across Dr. Lerner. After looking at all of the pictures of his work, I️ realized he might be the one! As soon as I️ walked into the dental office, I️ knew I️ had selected the perfect place. There was absolutely no wait time and Dr. Lerner and his staff greeted you in a way to make you feel at home. The procedure was PAINLESS. For one of my appointments, my 3 year old had to come alone because her school was closed and Dr. Lerner, Stephanie, and Michelle made sure that I️ had no need to be emabarssed that I️ had to bring her with me.

We came to Dr. Lerner from another dentist in the area where we numerous issues including pain after procedures and office bookkeeping/appointment issues. Because of the pain I've experienced, I was hesitant to switch to another dentist, but after 3+ years with Dr. Lerner, I have experienced no pain at all after some extensive dental work. Dr. Lerner and his entire staff, including front office personnel, his dental assistant, and the hygienists are first class and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My wife has been with him for 3 years as well, and we just started sending 2 of our teenage children. I was so nervous to go back to the dentist after not having been to one for two years. I decided to just 'pick on' and went to a large chain only to be told that I had my first cavity at 37 years old. I scheduled my appointment for the filling but knew that Dr. Lemongello would give me an honest opinion after having met him months before. I made a new appointment with Lerner & Lemongello Dentistry and was met by Dr. Lemongello's amazing staff and after my exam, was told I did NOT have a cavity or need a filling.
