Kickstart the New Year With Invisalign®

Invisalign If you are looking for an easy, pain-free way to straighten your teeth, you can’t beat Invisalign®. Known as the famous “invisible braces,” these customized trays are ideal for anyone with mild to moderate crookedness, gaps, or misalignment. Starting your treatment in December can give you a beautifully straight smile by the end of next year!

How Does Invisalign Work?

You have probably heard that Invisalign works just like braces, but many people are unsure exactly how the plastic tray can emulate the same work of metal brackets and wire. Invisalign uses a process called micromovement to gradually, slowly shift the position of your teeth and jaw.

The pressure applied by both braces and Invisalign trays softens the bone, making it easier to move into a desired position.

The dentist takes a physical impression or 3D scan of your teeth, then designs a digital treatment plan for your needs. You will receive your trays in a few weeks and wear them for 20-22 hours a day until treatment is complete.

Does It Hurt?

Invisalign can cause discomfort the first week or so, but this subsides as you get used to wearing the trays. Most patients report that they do not even notice they’re wearing Invisalign after the first few weeks of treatment.

Another benefit of the trays is that you do not have to worry about undergoing the discomfort of adjustments. Regular braces need to be tightened every 4-6 weeks, but Invisalign only requires swapping out your trays with new ones in that same time period.

Average Treatment Time

The typical Invisalign treatment is 12 months, but some patients achieve their desired results in as few as 6 months. We will work with you to find the perfect treatment plan that will leave you with a dazzling smile.
